Nancy is a Homeopathic Master Clinician, a registered member of the North American Society of Homeopaths, founding member of the Maine Association of Homeopaths, and has been certified by the Council for Homeopathic Certification (US) and the Association for International Homeopathic Certification. She is a diplomate in Advanced Clinical Homeopathy, and in addition to more than 20 years of study and collaboration with Louis Klein, F.S. Hom., Nancy has studied formally with Master Homeopaths Jan Scholten, Jeremy Sherr, Vega Rozenberg, and Massimo Mangialavori. Nancy has taught homeopathy throughout New England and is a frequent and enthusiastic lecturer on the subject. She is currently involved in promoting homeopathy as a resource for individuals on the autism spectrum, for sufferers of Lyme disease, traumatic brain injury, and those afflicted with Alzheimers and other degenerative conditions.
Nancy’s enthusiasm for homeopathy is evident in her teaching, as she imbues each student with an imperative for an open heart, a beginner’s mind, and a discerning curiosity for the workings of the natural world.
Jane Frederick
Director of Advancement
Jane manages business operations, community outreach, marketing, and oversees the design + structure of educational programming. She is a homeopathic consultant in practice at the Center and taught Introduction to Homeopathy for many years. She also worked to establish the first homeopathic course in a University nursing program, here at the University of Southern Maine beginning in 2018. She is a jack-of-all-trades with a degree in fine arts and can be found doing everything from answering phones to building classroom tables. She has a passion for leadership facilitation, coaching, and individual and organizational development, and is a 2015 graduate of The Institute for Civic Leadership. Jane is also an advanced Attunement practitioner, and brings a hopeful, philanthropic vision to all she does.
DR. Sarah paton, N.D
Faculty: Intro To HOMEOPATHY; Homeopathic Medical Sciences
Sarah joined the Baylight team in 2013 to teach anatomy, physiology and pathology for students enrolled in the practitioner program, and began teaching Introduction to Homeopathy at for new Baylight students in 2017. She maintains a clinical practice in Portland, providing naturopathic family medicine and specializing in homeopathy. She continues to serve on the faculty in the Holistic Health program at the University of Southern Maine’s School of Nursing, where she developed curriculum and taught the universities’ first Naturopathic Medicine course, and now teaches Introduction to Homeopathy I & II. Dr. Paton has also served as president of the Maine Association of Naturopathic Doctors and is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Kelly Callahan, RSHOM, CCH, PCH

Kelly is a Baylight alumnus and a 2016 graduate of the Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathic Studies with Jeremy Sherr. She's been in private practice since 2011, as Concentric Healing. In 2016, Kelly launched the first podcast created by a homeopath, for homeopaths. '1M: a Homeopath's Podcast' is published monthly, sharing interviews with homeopaths from around the world, philosophy, materia medica, repertory information, and more.
In addition to Baylight, Kelly has taught for Trinity Health Hub, an online education and community resource for homeopaths. She's adjunct faculty for the Academy of Homeopathy Education and in 2019 joined the Communications Committee for the National Center for Homeopathy. A long-time student of Jeremy Sherr, she contributes to his Repertory of Mental Qualities and maintains the database.
Kelly has a background in teaching and experiential education and endeavors to collaborate in her classes, aiming for an individualized, indeed homeopathic, experience for those in attendance. She resides in Midcoast Maine with her family where she homeschools her teen children, roams the Camden Hills with her dogs, and does her best to keep the garden going. Melissa Holmes

Melissa is responsible for supporting Baylight behind the scenes. She graduated in 2017 from USM with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a minor in Holistic Health. Her passion is deeply rooted in mindfulness and understanding the mind/body connection. She holds a Reiki 2 certification, practices therapeutic touch, tai ji, and mindfulness-based stress reduction. Melissa dove into the homeopathic practitioner course within her first few months of employment, a training path that will compliment her goal of becoming a licensed counselor. She hopes to combine the worlds of homeopathy, psychology, and mindfulness to weave acceptance, compassion and whole-person healing into her future practice.

Louis Klein, FSHom
Louis Klein, FSHom is a world class senior practitioner, lecturer, teacher, and professional consultant. He has been studying and practicing curative homeopathy for over 30 years and has been registered with the Society of Homoeopaths in England since 1984. He started his studies with George Vithoulkas and has studied with other masters of homeopathy over the years. He has a Licentiate of Homeopathy from the London College of Classical Homeopathy.
Louis Klein has been on the faculty and guest lectured at the leading schools of homeopathy in North America and Europe. He has lectured extensively throughout the world and is considered an expert on various aspects of the Materia medica and applied homeopathy.
He has been instrumental in putting the profession into the 21st century through the development and research into new techniques and the introduction of new homeopathic remedies. He has written a number of textbooks which have been received enthusiastically. He has published many articles on both clinical techniques in homeopathy and new Materia Medica experiences. He is the author of a textbook on advanced homeopathy entitled “Clinical Focus Guide to Homeopathic Remedies”. This text has also been translated into German. He has published a second text entitled “Luminos Provings”.
With his extensive experience, as well as being the past President and one of the founders of the North American Society of Homeopaths (NASH), he has been instrumental in setting educational and professional standards for Homeopaths.
Recently, Louis Klein was awarded a Fellowship of the Society of Homeopaths in England.
Louis’ expertise is his ability as a homeopathic clinician, to deal with even the most difficult of cases. His gift is his ability to teach these clinical skills with clarity, depth, and humor. Sally Williams, RSHom, HMC
Sally Williams, RSHom is certified by the North American Society of Homeopaths, is certified in Classical Homeopathy by the Council for Homeopathic Certification and has her masters in clinical homeopathy. In 1990 she founded the Homeopathic Educational Society of Western New York which supported homeopathic educational programs in the region. Her formal studies include the New England School of Homeopathy, and the Luminos School in Boston MA where she received a Masters in Clinical Homeopathy in 1995. She studied homeopathic philosophy with Jeremy Sherr and the Dynamis School in Toronto Canada and was awarded a diploma in 1997. She has continued her studies with Lou Klein, Rajan Sankaran, Massimo Mangialavori and Jan Scholten.
Sally is director of the Healing Arts Association of Western New York and is in her 17th year of private practice. She is language editor for Interhomeopathy, an online international homeopathic journal and is currently involved in the “Orchid Project”, a homeopathic research project for the cure of autism.
Sally has taught homeopathy at Erie Community College, University of Buffalo, Daemon College, and lectured at the Southwestern Naturopathic College in Tempe AZ. She is currently on the faculty of the Homeopathic Academy of Niagara, the Baylight School of Homeopathy and the Luminos College of Homeopathy. She lives in Buffalo, NY with her husband and two sons. Patricia Maher, HMC
Patricia Maher, HMC is a homeopath practicing in Boston, New York, and Ohio. Homeopathy is her third career, having spent most of the last 30 years leading social change organizations while also maintaining an active practice as an astrologer.
These strands join together in her work as a homeopath, in which she applies her understanding of the ways that social conditions affect our health as well as her insight into how one’s individuality is expressed through astrology. Pat practices Uranian astrology, a system developed by a German homeopath in the 1930’s, and she uses astrology as a tool in identifying homeopathic remedies.

Wendy Pollock, DC, RSHom
Dr. Wendy Pollock, DC, CCH, HMC, RS Hom (NA) has been in practice in Portland, Maine since 1984. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her homeopathic training from the New England School of Homeopathy in Amherst, Massachusetts 1992-1995, Luminos School in British, Columbia, Canada in 2006 and Koine School of Boston, Massachusetts in 2006. She received her CCH (Certified Classical Homeopath) credential in 2008, and is a member of NASH (North American Society of Homeopaths).
Dr. Pollock is the mother of two adult children and she resides in Freeport, Maine. Dr. Pollock is an avid kayaker, hiker and yoga practitioner.
